Letter From the Editors
After two years of silence, the Journal of Science has been revived. When given the task to recreate the Journal, we decided on a few changes to the old style. The Winter, 1999 edition is comprised of articles pertaining to all of the aspects of the sciences at W&L, not just the research performed here. Included in these changes are articles written about current events, current debates about key issues in the sciences, and even personal interest stories. We hope that these changes will be welcomed and spark further enhancements to the design of the Journal while encouraging more involvement in scientific studies at this university. As the staff of the Journal, we thank you for your interest and support, and we hope you like the changes.
Sincerely,
Patrick Wright, Editor
